Meet the Board

The L.A.S. Terra board consists of eight positions. The Chair, Secretary, and the Treasurer form what is known as the “core board”. They make sure that Terra works as an organisation, manage a budget, and oversee all things Terra-related. Our five Assessors of the subgroups are in charge of most of our events each month. They each represent an archaeological region of the world. Together with their subgroup board, they are in charge of the most important thing - creating fun opportunities to make friends and connect with other archaeology students!

Hey! I'm NyAnna (they/them), the chair of Terra for 2026-2027. I’m a masters student from the USA researching the Silk Roads, and I also study art history in Leiden. For the past two years, I’ve been involved in Terra, first as a member of Situla and then as the secretary. This year, I’m super stoked to meet new students and make the faculty a welcoming space for everyone.

Hi there! I am Alec (He/him). I am 18 years old and I will be your treasurer (or for the Dutch people: “Chef Centjes”) for this year! Besides living in Agora for my social science honours and minor I can usually be found somewhere in the office trying to keep Terra running without too many hiccups. Please feel free to come say hi when you can! Can’t wait to meet you!

Assessor Nabu Na´id

Hey hi hello, I'm Sinjo. I'm an 18 year old (soon to be 19) BA2 student here at the archaeology faculty. I'm running Nabu Na'id this year, which is the subgroup focused on the Near East.
