What Does the Committee Do?

DUSANE is the Dutch Symposium for Archaeology of the Near East, hosted by L.A.S. Terra and the DUSANE Committee. Together, they assemble researchers from the faculty and beyond to bring you the newest results, finds, and research from West Asia.

DUSANE is one of the most prestigious events hosted by the committee and L.A.S. Terra, and it attracts many visitors and researchers. Lectures from the use of Artificial Intelligence to decipher ancient cuneiform texts to researchers talking about their newest findings, DUSANE has it all. It fosters a learning environment where students can talk to researchers and professors on an eye-to-eye level without the restrictions of a classroom.
