What Does the Committee Do?

The Acquisition Committee is negotiating and establishing new partnerships with other associations from Leiden and beyond, as well as companies and institutions. The main goal is to link Terra to a wider network of similar clubs and associations, to create strong bonds and friendships, and to put our association on the map of Leiden student life.

Through partnerships with companies and institutions, we try to get benefits for Terra members in the form of internship opportunities, special deals, or other ways of profiting from being a member.

The committee is also looking to get sponsorships in order to finance events and other aspects of association life. This is also achieved by our yearly auction in winter, where you can buy all kinds of knick-knacks and trinkets donated by students, professors, or faculty members. The committee also organizes a tosti-sale every halfyear, so that even your lunch can contribute to organizing fun Terra activities.
