Nabu Na’id

Nabu Na’id is the subgroup for Middle Eastern archaeology at L.A.S. Terra. They cover everything from the first states of Mesopotamia to the later kingdoms of the Levant, all the way to the Arabic conquest of the Middle East.

Named after the last king of the Neo-Babylonian Empire, their events are the perfect fit for everyone interested in the region - and anyone else can join to get a taste! Join their hummus-making workshop, their cuneiform writing event, or any other event they will host!

Arda

Assessor

Hello, my name is Arda. I’m 20 years old and I came from Türkiye to Leiden to study heritage. This year, I’m the assessor of the subgroup responsible for the Near East: Nabu Na’id. Growing up surrounded by the archeology of this region is the reason why I wanted to study archeology, and I hope to share my passion with others by organising fun events (especially ones about food).

Alžbeta

Subgroup Secretary

Hi, I am Alžbeta and I come from Slovakia. I study the Heritage and Society track. The Near East has always fascinated me as it is the cradle of all civilization. I am excited to take on my responsibility as the secretary of Nabu Na'id.

Kiki

Subgroup Treasurer

Hello! My name is Kiki, and I’m excited to be the treasurer of Nabu Na’id this year. I have a deep interest in the archaeology of the Near East, and I also happen to love money. I’m looking forward to supporting the amazing events our association will organise, and I want to help to make this year a great one!!

I like to fill my spare time by collecting coins, spending quality time with my friends, and improving my cooking skills
