What Does the Committee Do?
Twice a year, the Bookmarket Committee hosts Terras’s infamous book markets. The upstairs area of the faculty, as well as the area below the stairs, turn into a library of books from all genres and ages. Books, journals, and magazines are ready to be read, looked through, and hopefully purchased.
The Terra book market combines books from Dutch fiction to up-to-date textbooks on the most niche topics. Organised by subgroups, you will have no problem browsing the vast array of different literary works. And since this is a Terra event, books are usually much cheaper than anywhere else! So, go find the committee when they spend a week selling you the most precious books for a bargain!
Since 2025, the book market also features an artist corner where students can display their art for free for everyone to marvel at.

Hello! My name is Diana. I’m a 21-year-old archaeology student from Romania, currently in my third year of studies. I'm the chair of the Bookmarket committee this year, bringing to you bargains from all genres. I'm excited to be part of this journey and look forward to sharing knowledge, making connections and friends, and having fun along the way!
