What is L.A.S. Terra?
L.A.S. Terra is the official study association for the Faculty of Archaeology at Leiden University and the perfect way to enhance your student experience! Founded in 2001, we are made up of five subgroups, each relating to an archaeological region of the world. We host events throughout the year, including workshops, small lectures, parties, and more.
Our committees organize larger-scale events, such as our yearly Gala, the Leiden Archaeology Weekend, or the Experimental Days. They are a great way to engage more with archaeology, or to meet new and enthusiastic people from your study.
Our association is open to anyone from the Faculty of Archaeology, and even beyond! You can become a member today—just click the button on the top, send us an email, or come by to our office. We are happy to welcome you as a new member!
